Kraft Electrical Contracting, Inc. is an $11 million commercial and industrial electrical contracting company, specializing in design-build electrical and/or fire alarm projects and installation of telecommunication cabling and equipment. The company started in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1997 and is WBENC (Women's Business Enterprise) certified. In approximately 12 years the company has grown to 11 full-time office employees and 60 field employees and established itself as a premier electrical contracting company.
Our in house staff has a broad range of experience and capabilities. Our President, Kelly DeGregorio, has been in the industry for over 12 years and brings a diversified approach to all of our projects. John Kraft has been in the business for over 30 years. He has been a part of projects such as Freedom Stadium, Ticona, TSS, Beckman Coulter and continues to be a great source of information for the entire team.
Matt Durban is a graduate of Ohio State University and has been is the industry for 6 years. Mike Downing is a construction management graduate from the University of Cincinnati and has been in the field, estimating and project managing for about 10 years. In an effort to stay ahead of the times Josh Thornton, Matt Durban and Mike Downing are LEED AP. Our Safety Director and Supervisor of Manpower, Andrew Schneider brings added value with over 17 years working in the field. Craig Adams is the Service Manager and has been in the electrical industry for 20 years. Overall the combined experience has been a great asset to our customers.
Our Service department has been a key part in providing quality and prompt service to our customers. We have 24 hour emergency availability along with fire alarm and specialty testing. This department consists of 6 vans along with our boom truck and flatbed.
We are continually integrating the latest technology and software into our collection of tools to aid in providing cost effective and time driven solutions. Our staff has experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, Expesite and other construction friendly software. The most recent addition is a third party electrical software package that integrates with AutoCAD. This allows us to make changes in the electrical design on a project and turn around these changes to the field quickly, efficiently and most importantly accurately. Additionally this software will aid with 3D BIM Coordination. The end product will easily import with many of the leading architectural BIM applications.
The projects that we have been a part of vary greatly and include stadiums, multi-story office and retail buildings, high-rises and warehouses. In addition we have performed many tenant build-outs, lighting retrofits and remodel projects. We are able to successfully execute projects ranging from a few hundred dollars to several million dollars.
Much of our work is from repeat customers. These customers have been general contractors, construction managers and owners. There have been several occasions where project scheduling constraints and customer demands have been met by performing both the original contact and tenant specific improvements at the same time. Time and again, we prove that we are the company to call when you want “Your Job Done Right”.
